Building on her experience as a facilities manager at Credit Suisse Asset Management, Event Manager Amy Schlansky ’83, P’22 joined Poly Prep’s Facilities and Operations team in 2007. During her tenure at Poly, Amy has taken on a number of roles that spanned both the Park Slope and Dyker Heights campuses, including Director of Lower School Facilities Management, Associate Director of Safety & Security, and Operations Manager. During her tenure, Amy has also been the Project Manager for many capital improvement projects that encompassed classroom and office upgrades, as well as renovations to athletics, conference, and event spaces. In 2018, she switched gears and took on the responsibility of managing the more than 1,000 events held at Poly each year by becoming the school’s first Event Manager. In 2020, with the onset of COVID-19 and the logistics needed to keep the community safe, Amy took on the added role of Poly’s COVID-19 Safety Coordinator, reporting testing data to New York State. She is a proud Poly alumna and parent.
